Project Planning
– Project Initiation
During the programming phase, the prospective client design service of interest is identified. Prior to an appointment with the client, we send questionnaires and await feedback from the client which help us identify the client’s design needs and objectives, thereafter appointments for site visitation are booked.
– Job Specification/ Requirements
An appointment entails exploring design style concepts, while taking details of the client’s preference for the design project. Measurement and photos of the project site are also taken at this time.
Project Execution
– Consultation
After the appointment, If the client is satisfied with our services, a certain fee would be paid which would cover Design Brief, Outsourcing of Design Materials, Initial and Final Concept Presentation, and Physical Mood Board. The created schematic design is sent/presented to the client for review and revision.
– Visual Design Concept (Optional)
Client can also request for a visualization of the design style concept in 2-D graphics, Mock-up or Computer-generated imagery (CGI). The concept design would take a minimum of 2-3 weeks of creation and it would be sent to the client. The client would revise and approve the concept design before construction documentation. Kindly note that this is an optional package which would be presented at a certain fee. Visual design concept entails furnishing – elevation finished ideas – Space Planning, – Furniture and fittings, – Floor and Wall coverings, – Interior Accessories and Equipment, – Lighting
– Client Approval/ Documentation
Upon the Client’s approval of the schematic design and design style concept, we proceed to construction documentation which would give a complete understanding of the future project (scope of work, professional service fee and more). Client would sign in agreement in-order to engage the project.
– Mobilization
An initial deposit would be paid by the client based on the volume of the scope of work and payment would be confirmed by the team leader before the project commences. In the event of a Client’s interest, a second appointment is set-up for this purpose. The project commences with the Client having the option of being fully or partly involved in the project and, the client would be presented a daily activity work schedule which would give information(s) on the project progress. The team leader is often on-site during “installation” to monitor quality control, ensure items are received in good condition(s) & installed correctly, and documents have been followed properly.
PROJECT COMPLETION
– Project Hand-over/ Close-out
The design process ends with confirming all the client’s design needs has been met, making final detailed touches which perfects the overall design style for the client. A meeting would be set-up for client’s inspection. The executed project would be handled over to the client on a selected date and, job completion document would be signed off by the client thereafter, the agreed Investment balance would be paid by the client.
